  • Data provided voluntarily by the user: first name, last name, email address, telephone number, booking information, number of passengers, and travel preferences.
  • Payment details: relating to the deposit (10%) managed via Credit Card.
    The site does not store card details, which are processed securely by the relevant payment gateways.

3. Purpose of processing

The data is processed to:

  1. Manage reservations and related deposit payments;
  2. Send confirmations and operational communications;
  3. Allow the owner of the selected boat to contact the customer directly for payment and service management;
  4. Manage requests for information via the contact form;
  5. Analyze website traffic anonymously (Google Analytics);
  6. Comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

4. Legal basis for processing

  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) – to manage reservations and requests.
  • Legal obligation (Article 6.1.c GDPR) – for accounting and tax compliance purposes.
  • User consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) – for the use of analytical cookies and voluntary contact.

The data is processed using IT tools and technical measures that are adequate to guarantee its security and confidentiality. It is not disclosed publicly, but may be communicated to the subjects indicated below.

6. Recipients of the data

The data may be disclosed to:

  • Boat owners affiliated with the Consortium, exclusively for the management of individual bookings;
  • Hosting and server management company: the option(https://theoption.es/);
  • Technical providers(e.g., WordPress support, WooCommerce plugins, Elementor);
  • Online payment processors: PayPal Holdings Inc., Stripe Inc., or equivalents;
  • Accountants or tax advisorsof the owner, if required by law.

7. Data retention

  • Reservation data: up to5 years(tax obligation);
  • Contact details and information requests: up to12 months;
  • Anonymous statistical data: in accordance with Google Analytics policies.

Once the terms have expired, the data is deleted or anonymized.

8. Transfers to non-EU countries

Some providers (e.g., Google LLC, PayPal) may also process data outside the European Economic Area.
These entities adhere to EU standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an adequate level of protection.
